Software System Validation Team Leader

Job description

Under the direction of the Head of Software Engineering, the Software System Validation Team leader will manage the entire Software System Validation for the complete Software products, aiming to deliver highest Quality products on-time. The Software System Validation Team leader will be responsible for defining the best strategy, methodology and tools for system validation and making sure it gets implemented and executed by the System Validation team that he will manage. The System Validation team consists of dedicated people to define, implement and execute the necessary (automated) system test tools to validate the products. The Software System Validation Team leader will also manage the dedicated QA/Test people in the different competence teams (Middleware, Camera drivers and Tools design) to assure an overall integrated approach of validation throughout the company to be aligned with the top level system validation done by the system validation team. In that context, he will align best practices and system validation plans with the HW Validation Team leader and the Head of Hardware Engineering, in particular with respect to Camera drivers and Camera hardware. In terms of Quality Assurance work within the company, he will raise QA awareness throughout the company and create new processes and documents to aid successful, timely and within budget QA work. The Software System Validation Team leader will be responsible for day to day management of the Software System Validation team.

Responsibilities

  • Management of Software System Validation team, as well functional management of the Test Engineers inside the competence teams (driver, middleware and tools design)
  • Management of System Validation campaigns for the various projects and products of the company
  • Define the methodology and tools necessary to guarantee high quality products (system, hardware software) released in time. This includes test automation to allow easy regression testing and efficient test campaigns. It also includes to define the relevant KPI and Metrics (incl. bug-tracking), and reporting through the company. The methodology will match with the Agile methodology of SW development (Scrum)
  • Coordination of project and product releases, this from the early definition of the product up to a mature product ready to release for mass production (hardware/embedded software) or mass deployment (software).
  • Once the product is released, you will be the point of contact of the Professional Services team in case of customer complaints, and point of contact of our Manufacturing sites in case of production problems related to the system design.
  • Coordinate the analysis of customer returns, yield/production problems or customer complaints, and improve the design and validation process with the relevant corrective actions.
  • Leverage your expertise to boost time-to-market of the 3D gesture solutions with team in Europe, North America and Asia
  • Participate in the communication/exchange of best practices, experiences between de different Development teams

Technical Product Owner

Job description

Under the direction of the Head of Software Engineering, the Technical product Owner will be responsible for driving the definition of the architecture of the SW being developed by the company. He will also be responsible of the capture of the requirements and participation to the writing of the use case and user story during development phases. He is involved with the project from the concept phase, through the design and implementation, to testing and market launch. The Technical Product Owner will also be involved in Agile methodology and process. Interest for scrum methodology is an add-on.

Under the direction of the Head of Professional Services, the Project Leader will be responsible for the coordination and leadership of Professional Services Projects. He/she will lead the design, development and testing phases of software and hardware being developed and integrated by the company. Job description

Under the direction of the Head of Engineering, you will be our Product Development Manager, making sure the products on our roadmap are well developed in time and with high quality, this from the early feasibility stages up to the end of the product development cycle when products are put into mass-production. The focus will be on both hardware (DepthSense cameras and sensors) and software (iisu) products and the system integration aspects of these products. You will take the lead as ‘Program manager’ for these key product developments.

You will be working in close co-operation with the System Architects and Design teams. You will be focusing on product specification with customers, suppliers and engineers. In particular you will supervise the development and production of DepthSense state of the art pioneering real-time 3D depth sensing cameras which combine IR, RGB, Depth and Voice technologies. This involves co-ordination between different internal & external teams from CMOS Sensors, camera hardware and software designing and production facilities in Europe and Asia. You will also be in contact with customers to incorporate their visions in the company roadmap and products, and once prototypes are available to set up the necessary co-R&D with lead customers. Part of your responsibilities will be to visit on a regular base customers and suppliers in Asia, Europe and USA.

System Validation Engineer

Job description

You will be involved in the definition, automation and execution of the system validation of our state-of-the-art innovative products, starting from the System specifications, including hardware and software components, and covering the integration of our sensors, cameras with drivers, and iisu middleware and tools, you will set up and maintain the Product Test Plan. Your focus is on System level integration testing, whereby you will rely but also cooperate with Sub-system validation engineers, validating the sensors, camera, and middleware on its own. Automation of your tests is key, aiming at efficient testing with high coverage and easy regression testing. You will be responsible to architecture, implement and validate your automated test-environment. You will also be responsible to run test-campaigns for validating the products and report on quality metrics and bugs towards the product design teams.

IC Test & Automation Engineer

Job description

You will be involved in the characterization and testing of our state-of-the-art innovative sensor ICs and the definition of hardware and software for automated test deployment. You will review device specifications of our sensor ICs and build and maintain Test Specifications and Test Plans to challenge the physical implementation. You will make and analyze test statistics and monitor production test lines. Automation of your tests is key, aiming at efficient testing with high coverage and easy regression testing. You will be responsible to architecture, implement and validate your automated test-environment. You will also be responsible to run test-campaigns for validating the products and report on quality metrics and bugs towards the sensor design teams.

As test engineer you will be involved in the early phases of the device specification to review the testability and test coverage of new devices.

You will be involved in the Camera Team (covering R&D and Product Development) and the QA Team.
