BRUSSELS – April 20, 2010 – SoftKinetic, the leading provider of 3D gesture recognition solutions, today named Tim Droz as vice president of North American Operations, leading the company’s expansion into the US and Canada. Tim will oversee the new Sunnyvale, California office as he guides the company into the heart of Silicon Valley. The US headquarters will bolster new business opportunities and boost sales in the rapidly expanding gesture entertainment industry.
“Tim Droz was a natural choice to lead our expansion into North America, with his extensive knowledge of the 3D gesture recognition industry,” said Michel Tombroff, chief executive officer, SoftKinetic. “With Tim leading the charge in Sunnyvale, we can jumpstart our U.S. presence and continue to be at the forefront of gesture recognition worldwide.”
