DepthSense 525 Camera (Camera Info and Ordering Here)
The DS525 (previously called the DS325) has been the "workhorse" of the TOF industry, selling over 15K units over the past few years into evertyhing from VR Headsets to robotic arms. About the size as a deck of cards (95x22x20mm), It is also used by a large number of universities as an introduction tool for 3D imaging and TOF. The DS525 has several modes, allowing depth capture as close as 15 cm and up to 1m at 60 fps, 2.5 meters at 15fps, or 4 meters at 6fps.
The camera also comes with a color senosr, which is synched with the 3D output, which enables a new world of unique experiences that are accessible through a natural user interface.
Drivers for PC are on the website, and ARM Linux and ARM Android drivers are available upon request.
DepthSense 541A Module (Ordering Open May 2 - Limit 1 to Approved Customers)
The world's smallest 3D depth time-of-flight (ToF) module, the DS541A offers the highest level of efficiency available on the market, perfect for small form factors such as smartphones and wearable devices. The DS541 is based on the latest DepthSense ToF architecture and features:
- 10µ pixel, ¼ inch sensor with micro lenses for highest depth resolution
- MIPI interface for lowest latency
- Innovative lens design for smallest form factor and highest efficiency
Since the module is a MIPI device, it will be offered in a kit with a USB converter card to use with a Windows PC. MIPI drivers for the QCOM 820 will be available late summer.
